Upgraded lion and tiger enclosures

After an interval of more than nine months, the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa is excited to announce the completion of its newly upgraded lion and tiger enclosures. Our beautiful animals will once again be in their homes for you to visit!

The creation of new facilities for the lions and tigers was undertaken for both the welfare of our animals and the safety of our staff. Approximately R3-million was invested in the project that has now reached fruition.
